Social commitment at KVK Koerner

Every year at the start of summer, our employees get together to play football on the green in front of our office. These after-work sessions are a fantastic way to end the day and build team spirit. Such activities allow us to deepen working relationships and provide a welcome break from the daily grind.

Tradition is very important at KVK Koerner. Whether it's Shrove Tuesday, when we all dress up and eat doughnuts, or our Christmas party, where we celebrate the festive season together - such occasions promote a sense of togetherness and bring joy to our everyday working lives.

We also celebrate the personal successes of our employees, such as the impressive performance of our colleague Joze Mori, who took first place in his age group at the Dubai Marathon. Such successes are highly valued and recognised by us. Our appreciation is not just for the work of our team, but for every single person and their individual abilities.

Our social commitment is also reflected in our endeavours to maintain the highest standards at all times. This was recently recognised by the Safety Award we received for our outstanding work in replacing the stainless steel pickling line at Industeel France. This award emphasises our commitment to safety and excellence in all projects.

In the southern Styrian countryside, where vines grow and chestnut trees flourish, we appreciate the simple pleasures of life, such as roasting home-grown chestnuts over an open fire. We use these moments to pause for thought and encourage dialogue between colleagues.
