voestalpine BÖHLER Aerospace GmbH & Co KG is a leading supplier of special forgings made of high-performance materials such as high-alloy steels, nickel-based alloys and titanium alloys for the aerospace industry. The KVK Pickling plant was therefore designed to meet the highest standards in terms of quality, automation, reliability and data exchange.

The pickling plant from KVK Koerner, which was commissioned in March 2018, meets the high-quality requirements of voestalpine BÖHLER Aerospace GmbH & Co KG and therefore also the Nadcap approval.

KVK Koerner supplied the complete pickling system as the general contractor. This included the KVK pickling tanks, tank heating, tank cooling, KVK Coating of the installation pit, maintenance walkway with railing, enclosure, sliding gates, exhaust air system, fume scrubber, acid management system, tank circulation piping, storage tanks and the complete transport system with pickling crane, bridge crane and transport shuttle.

Our KVK Materials are 100% acid-resistant and are also suitable for applications that go beyond the typical demands of conventional pickling processes.

Used media: sulphuric acid, nitric acid and hydrofluoric acid
