DSI Underground

When modernising its galvanising plant, DSI relied on the quality of Kingfield Technologies and Equipment, Scheffer and KVK Koerner.

Together with our partner Kingfield Technologies and Equipment, we have completed the new KVK GreenPure® pre-treatment plant for DSI in Brisbane, Australia. The assembly period was from end of 2023 to 2024 and thanks to the installation by our KVK Koerner technicians, the plant was successfully commissioned in February 2024.

A complete pre-treatment system with pickling tanks, heating plates, heat exchangers and exhaust air system based on KVK GreenPure® technology was installed. The 100% sealed enclosure made it possible to separate the pre-treatment area and dry cellar. KVK Tanks with a length between 13 m and 19.9 m were installed for each pre-treatment process in order to be able to galvanize extra-long material. In cooperation with the general contractor, Kingfield Technologies and Equipment, the coordination and handling of overseas transportation and support with customs clearance was ensured.
