KVK Koerner builds an encapsulated galvanising plant for crash barriers in Sohar - Oman

The KVK galvanizing plant with kettle dimensions of 13.0 x 1.5 x 2.5 m is part of the new industry plant of Dunes Industries LLC in Oman. The commissioning was carried out by KVK Koerner specialists in October 2015. As the general contractor, we supplied a complete, manually operated, open plant.

Our subcontractors:

  • Scheffer Krantechnik GmbH for conveyor technology
  • Zink Körner GmbH for the thermal part: gas galvanizing furnace and dryer
  • Scheuch for the zinc dust filter
  • Wilms GmbH for the neutralization system
