EGGA Assembly: Galvanisers of Europe meet up
The European General Galvanizers Association (EGGA) is the European network of the galvanizing industry. It brings together national associations from across Europe, representing several hundred galvanizers and suppliers. Its mission: to pool knowledge, advance technical standards, and strengthen the industry’s position in political and economic discussions.
For us at KVK Koerner, the EGGA is especially valuable because it connects people, markets, and ideas. At the annual EGGA Assembly, discussions focus on new processes, sustainability, circular economy, and technical developments that directly influence our daily work and our customers’ projects. We also enjoy presenting our own innovations there — for example in the fields of galvanizing plants, pickling tanks, or exhaust air technology.
The international perspective is important as well. EGGA monitors trends at the EU level, evaluates regulations, and provides guidance on key future topics. At the same time, it ensures that practical industry experience can flow into these processes — an exchange from which we, as a company, benefit greatly.
We are already looking forward to the next EGGA Assembly in June 2026 in Istanbul.
